Safely Arrived in Fukuoka

As mentioned in a previous post, it was a roundabout route – Los Angeles to Vancouver to Osaka to Fukuoka – but I arrived safely. I had not slept the night previous (my last post was written at 4 am just before to heading to the airport), so that I could sleep on the plane and get a jump on the jet lag. Turns out the plan succeeded, or at least the first part did as I was able to sleep for a good part of the journey. I won’t know about the jet lag till later. 🙂

I’m anxious to get started building, but I think I’ll try and go slow at first. Make the next couple of days “settling in” days. This is a big transition, and I don’t want to underestimate everything involved.
